Marc Walter is a Landart artist who has been creating environmental art since 2004. Originally from Paris, France, he has been living in the Outaouais for the past 27 years. He is prolific and well-known in his field, having received numerous grants and awards to create works in public spaces, both in Canada and abroad.

During this one day workshop participants will:
Spend a day enjoying the outdoors at the Crow's Rest, a beautiful hilly lake-side setting in the Gatineau Hills
Learn how to observe nature
Understand how to take advantage of the elegant lines provided by trees and how to balance both strength and fragility in your work
Create a unique three-dimensional sculpture to take home for your garden, porch or home
Enjoy a tasteful seasonal lunch of locally sourced foods

Durant cet atelier d’une journée:
vous passerez votre temps dans le cadre extérieur du Repos du Corbeau (Crow’s Rest), un domaine magnifique en bordure de lac dans les collines de la Gatineau.
Vous apprendrez à observer la Nature de manière renouvelée en tirant avantage des lignes élégantes fournies par les arbres et en équilibrant force et fragilité au sein de votre création.
Les participants créeront des sculptures uniques en trois dimensions qu’ils pourront ramener chez eux pour leur jardin, porche ou intérieur.
Un repas savoureux sera servi avec de la nourriture d’origine locale.
